Feeling the pain of submission review
Brad over at Brad’s Blog is feeling the pain of dealing with tons of submissions. If you get behind by a couple of days it can feel overwhelming.
“When I went into the admin area of my Blog Directory, I about fell over. 257 links waiting for approval! JEEZ!”
But he learned pretty quick what matters:
“Featured and reciprocol links get approved fast. Then I go to the links that have good titles and descriptions, that make them look like real blogs and not splogs, or ad sites.”

Thanks for the mention. I am now over 300 waiting for approval, most are splogs and Indian MFA sites. I have set aside a few hours this weekend to go through them all.
I am pondering upgrading my directory to the paid version, but will only do so if I can do bulk deletes of pending links.
I guess when the directory is a PR5, isn’t cluttered with ads, and is still free, you have to expect a lot of this headache.
